Habitat Faith Build UPDATE AS OF JUNE 13, 2023 from Rachel Kennon, Development Director:
The Faith Build 2023 home is being framed today and we are so excited to see progress for the Ford Family!
We have raised $64,500 towards this project (Go God!) to-date and we are still need the remaining $35,500 to finish this house. If your church wants to make a commitment to this project, please reach out to Rachel Kennon, [email protected] . I would be happy to answer any questions and get your church body plugged in!
In addition to new home construction, Habitat has recently launched into maintenance and repair in an effort to serve more families as the need for safe, affordable housing grows stronger every day. With that, we are in need of skilled volunteers who can assist our maintenance and repair staff. We are currently doing projects in Myrtle Beach, but will eventually start serving the entire county.
We would be so appreciative if you would pass this need along to your church bodies for anyone interested in serving as one of our core volunteers for maintenance and repair projects. Please have them reach out to me if interested.
