Welcome to First Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach!

First Methodist Church is the historical downtown church in Myrtle Beach. With roots reaching back to 1915, this church is one of the largest and most active Methodist congregations in South Carolina. Ever growing and changing, "First Church" is venturing forth in new ways of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ both here and overseas.  A church for all people.

Newcomers
Explore our website to find out more about how to get involved in First Church. We offer Sunday School for all ages, Methodist Youth Fellowship for grades 6-12, choirs for adults, Methodist Women circles, small groups, as well as many opportunities to serve.

Membership
Join First Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach by profession of faith, transfer from another Methodist congregation or another denomination. Please call the church office, 843-448-7164, to speak with the membership secretary who will set up a meeting with one of our ministers to contact you and discuss your decision to join the church and to set a date and service time to welcome you into the First Church family.
